国際基督教大学（ICU）で開催されたICU ワイン・コミティー に参加しました。
ワタシが、ICU同窓会のオリジナルワイン “武蔵野クロス” の開発に関わり、長年輸入を担当しているご縁です。
南アフリカ・西ケープ産のシュナン・ブランとカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン。
2007年の発売開始から、これまで約86,000本を販売しています。
会場はキャンパス内のICUアラムナイ・ハウス。
コロナ禍の影響で4年ぶりの開催です。
ワイン好きの先生方を中心に、ICU同窓会ワインに関わりのあるメンバーが揃いました。
ICU学長の岩切さんもいらっしゃいます。
参加者が持ち寄ったワインを、シャルキュトリとフルーツで楽しみます。
ワタシが持参したのは、南ア産の赤と白。
チェイス・ザ・グレープ シュナン・ブラン 2020年と、スターク・コンデ オードネクター 2014年です。
幸いどちらのワインも好評をいただきました。
お互いに久しぶりに会うメンバーと、初めて参加された方も多く、あちこちで話が盛り上がります。

I participated in the ICU Wine Committee held at International Christian University (ICU).
I was involved in the development of the ICU Alumni Association’s original wine “Musashino Cross” and has been in charge of imports for many years.
Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Western Cape of South Africa.
Since its launch in 2007, approximately 86,000 units have been sold.
The venue was ICU Alumni House on campus.
It will be held for the first time in four years due to the influence of the Covid-19 disaster.
Mainly wine-loving teachers, ICU Alumni Association members involved in wine were gathered.
Mr. Iwakiri, the president, is also there.
Participants will enjoy the wine brought with them charcuterie and fruit.
I brought red and white from South Africa.
Chase the Grape Chenin Blanc 2020 and Stark Condé Oude Nekter 2014.
Fortunately, both wines were well received.
There are many members who have not seen each other in a long time, and many who have joined for the first time, and the conversation is lively here and there.
