黒毛和牛ランプステーキ
今日の黒毛和牛は4等級の優れもの。
噛むたびにジューシーな肉汁が口いっぱいに広がります。
前回の安い輸入の肉とは全くの別物でした。
本日のワイン
アンドレーザ グランデ レゼルヴァ 2014
黒毛和牛のステーキにあわせて、何かパンチの効いたワインが飲みたくなって、セラーを物色。
で、この7年前のポルトガル訪問時に購入したドウロのワインを飲むことにしました。
ポルトガルのドウロ地方といえば、ポートワインの産地としてあまりにも有名ですが、最近ではスティルワインの産地としても注目されています。
はい、狙い通り、とてもパンチの効いたワインです。
濃密なベリー系の果実味、凝縮した酸、しっかりとしたタンニン、余韻の長いアフターテイスト。
骨太なフルボディスタイルのワインですが、とても均整の取れた味わいで、高い酸味もあいまって、全くべたついたところがありません。
11年の熟成を経ても、まだまだ新鮮な風味がしっかり残っています。
ポルトガルワインのポテンシャルを如何なく示してくれる良いワインです。
今日のステーキよりも、ワインの存在感が勝りました。

Kuroge Wagyu Beef Rump Steak
Today’s Japanese black beef is a 4th grade excellent one.
With each bite, the juicy meat juices fill my mouth.
It was completely different from the cheap imported meat last time.

I wanted to drink some punchy wine to go with the black wagyu beef steak, so I searched my cellar.
So, I decided to drink the Douro wine I bought during my visit to Portugal seven years ago.
The Douro region of Portugal is too famous as a port wine production area, but recently it has also attracted attention as a still wine production area.
Yes, as intended, it is a very punchy wine.
I felt dense berry fruits, concentrated acidity, firm tannins, and a long aftertaste.
It is a thick full-bodied wine, but it has a very well-balanced taste, combined with high acidity, and is not sticky at all.
Even after 11 years of aging, it still retains its fresh flavor.
It is a good wine that shows the potential of Portuguese wine.
The presence of wine was better than today’s steak.
