スペインから家族旅行で来日したジョアン・ニコラス一家と、新宿のアジア料理店“ジンジャー・グラス”でお食事です。
嵐のような大雨の中、スペイン時間にあわせて15時からの遅めのランチ。
ジョアンは、ペネデスの“グリモウ”と“トレブランカ”、プリオラートの“ベルモン” の３つのワイナリーのオーナー。
グリモウのカーヴァ“トランカディス”は、リラックスワインが20年以上輸入を続けるロングセラーです。
今回は奥さまのモンセと4人の子供、6人全員そろっての来日。
長女のジュリア以外の3人は今回が初来日です。
3人とも日本のアニメの大ファンなので、夢がかなって興奮気味のようです。
ワインは今日も持ち込みでお願いしました。
私の息子が造ったチェイス・ザ・グレープ、“アルバリーニョ”と甲州主体のオレンジワイン 仁 を開けました。
スペイン人のワイン屋さんに息子が造った日本のアルバリーニョを飲んでもらうって、なんか変な感じですが、幸い好評をいただきました。
甲州のオレンジワインも高い評価をいただきましたよ。
皆さん、初めて食べるベトナム・タイ料理にも満足の様子。
昨日スペインから日本についたばかりなのに、時差ボケもなんのその、ラテン系のノリで賑やかなお食事になりました。
明日は箱根の旅館に泊まり、あさっては京都、次の日は大阪で、翌日は東京に戻ってから横浜・大黒ふ頭のパーキングエリアに集まる（？）スーパーカーを見に行くそうです。
混雑のゴールデンウイークのなか、新幹線のチケットは予約してないそうです。
6名の移動だよ。大丈夫なのかな？

Joan Nicolas and his family, who came to Japan on a family trip from Spain, and had lunch at the Asian restaurant “Ginger Glass” in Shinjuku.
In the midst of a stormy rain, we had a late lunch from 3 p.m. in time for Spanish-time.
Joan is the owner of three wineries: “Grimau” and “Torreblanca” in Penedes, and “Bellmunt” in Priorat.
Grimau’s Carva “Trencadis” is a long-selling Relax Wine that has been imported for more than 20 years.
This time, his wife Montse and four children, all six came to Japan.
Except for the eldest daughter, Julia, this is the first time for the three of them to visit Japan.
All three of them are big fans of Japan anime, so they are excited that their dreams will come true.
I asked for wine to be brought in today.
I opened my son’s Chase the Grape, “Albarino” and Jin, an orange wine made mainly in Koshu.
It’s kind of weird to have a Spanish wine perspon drink Japan Albarino made by my son, but fortunately it was well received.
Koshu’s orange wine was also highly evaluated.
Everyone seemed to be satisfied with the Vietnamese and Thai food they ate for the first time.
Even though they just arrived in Japan from Spain yesterday, they had a lively meal despite the jet lag.
Tomorrow they will stay at a ryokan in Hakone, tomorrow they will go to Kyoto, the next day they will go to Osaka, and the next day they will return to Tokyo to see the supercars that will gather in the parking area of Daikoku Pier in Yokohama.
In the midst of crowded Golden Week, they didn’t book a ticket for the Shinkansen train.
It’s a move of 6 people. Is it okay?
