今日はお休み、朝から庭の草むしりです。
スギナな切っても抜いても、またすぐにモサモサと生えてきます。
今日は昨日の大雨で地盤が緩くなっているのを利用して、スギナの根本深くから掘り起こすことにしました。
土が柔らかいとはいえ重作業。
昼までかけて、なんとか入口付近のスギナを撲滅。
もうヘトヘトでした。
夕食前にベランダで、枝豆とチーズ。
草堀りのご褒美に、今日のお刺身にウニをつけちゃいました。
ミョウバンも使わない自然なウニ。
これ、最高でした。
1本目 シャトーフォングラーヴ ブラン 2017 1,150円 ＋ 税
今月に入って2回目のフォングラーヴです。
セミヨン100％ で仕込まれた辛口ワイン。
きれいな果実味、酸は穏やかですがミネラル感がしっかりしているのでキレ味があり
ます。
ボルドーっていうと赤ワインのイメージがありますが、ワタシは個人的には白が好き
です。
1987年に生まれて初めてボルドーに行ったとき、運河に面したカフェでグラーヴの白
ワインを飲んだ時の驚きは忘れられません。
なんてフレッシュで爽やかなんだろうと驚きました。
そのころ日本に入っているボルドーの白って、ほとんどみんな痛んでたのよね。
これとは比べ物になりません。
2本目 シャトーフォングラーヴ ルージュ 2016 1300円 ＋ 税 新入荷
フォングラーヴの赤は少しの間欠品していましたが、新ヴィンテージで再入荷しまし
た。
メルロー90%とカベルネフラン10%で仕込まれた本格派。
認定はリュットレゾネですが、まずほとんど農薬は使っていません。
ボルドー液を年に数回散布するくらいです。
派手さはありませんが、じっくりと美味しい赤ワインです。
やっぱりブドウが見えるんだよなあ。
余計な邪魔な味はいっさいありません。
フォングラーヴはやっぱり美味しい！

It was a day-off.
I weeded my garden as well.
The grasses are very, very tough.
I decided to dig their roots instead of cutting them.
It was a very heavy job…
At dinner, I had a starter at my balcony as well.
The sashimi was better than usual.
1st Chateau Fongrave Blanc 2017 1150 yen + tax It was the second time I had tasted this Bordeaux dry white wine in this month.
It made from 100% Semillon.
I like the pure fruits and fine minerals very much.
Bordeaux white wine is not so popular compared with Bordeaux red wine.
However, I prefer to white than red.
When I have been Bordeaux at the first time in 1987.
I was amazed at drinking Grave white wine.
It was outstandingly tasty than I tasted before.
At that time, almost all white Bordeaux had damage in Japan, I think.
2nd Chateau Fongrave Rouge 2016 1300 yen + tax New arrivals It has been out of stock for a while.
We received the new arrivals with the new vintage.
It made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc grown in the estate vineyards in Saint- Macaire by natural farming.
I like the natural fruits, elegant tannin and nice mouthfeel.
I didn’t feel any bad taste disturbing may plate.
I am sure again it is a very fine Bordeaux rouge.
