明日28日は土曜日なので、今日が2月の最終締め日。
それにしても何で2月は28日しかないのでしょうか？毎年の事ですが、全く調子が狂います。
ローマ時代に遡って、カエサルのせいとか、アウグストゥスのせいとか言われているのを聞いたことがありますが、そんな昔からこの不条理は続いているのですね。
誰か、なんとかしようと思った人はいないのでしょうか？

鰻炊き込みご飯
豆腐サラダは、今日の思い付き料理。湯豆腐にするつもりでしたが、気温が高くサラダに変更。
胡麻ドレッシングでいただきました。なかなかおいしかったです。
本日のワイン
トゥルクハイム リースリング 2022 2,300円
少し上等なワインが飲みたくなって、アルザスのリースリングを開けました。
ピュアで膨らみのある果実の風味、リースリングならではのエレガントな酸、カチッと引き締まったミネラル感。
リースリングを飲む機会って、そう多くはありませんが、飲めばリースリングが昔から高貴な品種と言われてきた理由がわかります。
やっぱりすごく美味しいです。

Tomorrow the 28th is Saturday, so today is the last closing day of February.
Still, why is there only 28 days in February? It’s a matter of every year, but I’m completely out of shape.
Back in Roman times, I have heard people say that it is Caesar’s fault or Augustus’ fault, but this absurdity has continued since that time.
Is there anyone who wants to do something about it?

I was going to cook Hot Tofu, but the temperature was high and I changed it to a salad.
I had it with sesame dressing. It was quite delicious.
Today’s Wine
Turckheim Riesling 2022 2,300 yen
I wanted to drink a little fine wine, so I opened this Riesling from Alsace.
I felt pure and rich fruits flavor, elegant acidity unique to Riesling, and a crisp minerality.
For me, there are not many opportunities to drink Riesling, but when I drink it, I always understand why Riesling has long been said to be a noble variety.
After all, it’s very delicious.
