先日のカーヴ・ド・リラックス社の人見さんに続き、今回は小山田さん。
前々から「飲もう、飲もう」と誘いながら、ずるずると放置していた二人ワイン会を遂に開催。
今回も六本木の寿し屋の後藤さんに、ワインを持ち込みました。
小山田さんとは前職の、やまや池袋店からずっと一緒に仕事をしてきました。
かれこれ30年の月日が経過しています。
お互いに年を取りました。と、いっても小山田さんは10歳年下。
と、いっても、若いころから老け顔で、よく私の方が若く見られることもあったけ。。
私のワインは、チェイス・ザ・グレープ仁 2014、ヴィラデスト・ワイナリー ソーヴィニヨン・ブラン 2021。
どちらも、寿司にこれほど良く合うワインは、なかなかないね、といった優れもの。
小山田さんは意外にも、フリードリッヒ・ベッカー シュペートブルグンダー 2021。
このドイツのピノ・ノワール、優れたバランスと品格を持つ素晴らしいワインでした。
小山田さんのワインの選定眼は相変らずお見事です。
思えば、二人でサシで飲むのは5年ぶり。
いろいろと積もる話に時間があっという間に過ぎました。
楽しい時間をありがとうございます。
また飲みましょう。

No Wine Day

Following Mr. Hitomi of Cave de Relax the other day, this time Mr. Oyamada.
While inviting him to “drink, let’s drink” for a long time, we finally held a wine party, which had been left unattended slyly.
Also, we brought wine to Sushi-ya-no-Goto in Roppongi.
I have been working with Mr. Oyamada since my previous job, the Yamaya Ikebukuro store.
Thirty years have passed.
We both got older. However, Mr. Oyamada is 10 years younger than him.
However, he has been looking old since he was young, and I often looked younger.
My wines are Chase the Grape Jin 2014 and Villa d’Est Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2021.
Both are excellent, and I think there are few wines that go so well with sushi.
Mr. Oyamada bought surprisingly a bottle of Friedrich Becker Spätburgunder 2021.
This German Pinot Noir was a wonderful wine with excellent balance and dignity.
Mr. Oyamada’s wine selection eye is as wonderful as ever.
Come to think of it, it’s been 5 years since we tasted wine tighter last time.
Time passed quickly with various stories.
Thank you for the good time.
Let’s drink again.
