今日は福島へ日帰り出張です。
郡山のヨークベニマル本社でワインセミナーを開催します。
今回のクラスでは、3回目のセミナーです。
今日のテーマは、「フランスのワイン産地とブドウ品種」。
この辺りから聞きなれないカタカナが怒涛の様に出てくるので、ここがワインの勉強のターニングポイント。
ここでワインに興味を持ってもらえるか否かで、この先の勉強の進め方が大きく異なってきます。
少しでも興味を持ってもらえるように、ジャンヌ・ダルクとか、ナポレオンとか、マリー・アントワネットとか、歴史上の有名人のエピソードを随所に交えながら、講義を進めました。
ま、話があっちこっちに飛んで、取り留めのない話になるのは、いつものことですが。
それでも小テストでは、多くの皆さんが高得点をマークしましたよ。
テイスティングは、フランスの白ワイン。
シャルドネ、ソーヴィニヨン・ブラン、リースリングの聴き比べ。
もっと品種特性が出るともって選んだワインですが、これが微妙な状態。
かなりプロフェッショナルな試飲となってしまいました。
そんな、こんなでも、無事セミナーは終了。
おおむね好評をいただけたようです。

昨日は大阪、今日は福島。二日連続の日帰り出張はさすがに疲れました。
セミナー終了後、まっすぐ自宅に帰ってさっと夕食。
もろきゅう、冷や奴、漬物とスーパーで買ったお寿司をいただきました。
ワインはベル・デュ・スッドのシャルドネ。
美味しかったです。

I went to a day trip to Fukushima.
I held a wine seminar at the York Benimaru headquarters in Koriyama.
This is the third seminar in this class.
Today’s theme is “French wine regions and grape varieties”.
Unfamiliar words come out like a raging wave from around here, so this is the turning point in studying wine.
Whether or not you are interested in wine here will make a big difference in how you proceed with your studies in the future.
In order to get people interested in it as much as possible, I proceeded with the lecture with episodes of famous people in history, such as Joan of Arc, Napoleon, Marie Antoinette, etc.
Well, it’s normal for my seminar that the story to fly here and there and become a story that can’t be retained.
Still, many of students scored high in the achievement test.
The tasting was French white wine.
Comparison of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling.
I chose this wine because it would have more varietal characteristics, but this is a delicate state.
It turned out to be a very professional tasting.
Even so, the seminar ended safely.
It seems to have been generally well received.
Thank you all.
Yesterday in Osaka, today in Fukushima. I was really tired from two days of business trips in a row.
After the seminar, I went straight home and had a quick dinner.
I had morokyu, cold-tofu, pickles, and sushi bought at the supermarket.
The wine is Belles du Sud Chardonnay.
It was delicious.
I think I did a good job.
