朝、小田急線が設備の故障で運休。2時間15分の遅刻。
ヘロヘロ状態で虎ノ門店に出社後、フランス・ボルドーから“シャトー・フォングラーヴ”のオーナー、フランソワ＆クラウディア ブルワル夫妻がご来店。
彼らとのお付き合いも、もう25年になります。
鳥取の蔵元「稲田屋」の経営する近くの日本料理店でランチ。
純米吟醸をいただきました。
とてもキレイなお酒で、お二人ともとても気に入ったご様子でした。
二人とも日本酒に興味を持ったようなので、虎ノ門店の3軒隣にある「日本の酒情報館」にご案内します。
ビデオで日本酒造りの説明を受けたあと、3種の純米生酒の新酒をテイスティング。
フランソワ、真剣です。
さすがはボルドーのワイン醸造家。3種類の純米生酒の個性と特徴をピタリと表現。
ワインと日本酒には、やはり何か通じるものがあるようです。
お土産にラグビー・フランス代表のユニホームをもらいました。
ありがとうございます。
フランソワ、これからもよろしくね。
さて、夜はワタシのフェーヴァリットなレストラン、FURUTOSHI銀座で、プライヴェートなワイン会。
今日のテーマは南フランスワイン。
ワタシの得意分野です。
いつもながら Furutoshi のお料理は本当にお見事。
本日の参加者の皆さんも大満足です。
さて今夜のハイライトは、日本未入荷のサンシニアンの赤ワイン。
なんと樹齢117年のカリニャンから収穫したブドウ100%で仕込まれているそうです。
偉大なブルゴーニュを飲んでいるような錯覚を覚えるほどの洗練された官能的な味わいでした。
いろいろ新しい発見と刺激をいただいたワイン会でした。

I received Mr. Francois & Mrs. Claudia Brouard, who are the owner of Chateau Fongrave in Bordeaux.
We have a business relationship over 25 years.
I took them lunch.
We tasted fine Japanese cuisine and fine sake.
Because they were interested in sake, I took them the sake museum near my shop.
We watched the movie at first.
It taught us how to make sake.
Then we tried a sake tasting.
Francois very seriously tried it.
Surprise!
He explained perfect comments about the character of each sake.
I found the person who knows wine knows sake, too.
Francois gave me a French National Rugby Football Team Uniform.

It was very nice meeting you!
In the evening, I organized some private wine dinner at Furutoshi Ginza.
The theme today was South France wine.
All of the dishes today were outstanding.
We enjoyed a lot!
The best wine today was this Sanit-Chinian red wine, which has been not imported to Japan yet.
Amazing!
It is made from 100% Carignan harvested from 117 years old grape vines.
The taste is very similar to tremendously great Burgundy wine.
It was a very nice wine party.
Very good job!
