I organized a private wine tasting lunch with Mr. Osanai, who is a vineyard owner & grape grower he is my old friend.
He worked in Suntory for 37 years.
He quit Suntory two years ago and started his own vineyard located at the foot of Mt. Iwaki.
He produced Petillant last year by Steuben grape grown in Hirosaki by his friend.
I tried to taste the bottle today.
Hirosaki Craft Wines Primo Passo 2021
I felt elegant babbles, dense fruits, charming acidity and comfortable mouthfeel.
The taste was very pure and natural.
I didn’t expect this one so much before tasting but it is a very fine Petnat.
We also tasted Italia Orange Wine and Hokkaido Pinot Noir.
Both of them were very nice, too.
Every dish was very good, too.
We could spend a very nice time.
