The Top Cuvee

While I was on a walk, I met a precocious cherry blossom.





It looked half in bloom.








I had a Yakiniku BBQ dinner today.










1st Azienda Borgo di Colloredo Biferno Bianco”Gironia” 2016  2000 yen + tax

It is made from Bomvino, Trebbiano and Malvasia grown in Molise Italy by organic method.

It is the white wine top cuvee of the winery.

It showed a very good maturing.

The color is gold.

I felt very rich fruits, elegant acidity, comfortable minerals and long after taste.

It isn’t a non-sulfur wine but I felt the nuance of ” Vin de Nature”.

Very nice! Very nice!



2nd Joostenberg Bakermat 2014  2500 yen + tax

It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grown in Paal South Africa by organic method.

It is the top cuvee of the winery, too.

It’s a great wine! I moved a lot!

Even though the style is full-bodied and concentrated, I felt tremendously elegant-comfortable mouthfeel.

Every taste and flavor showed a perfect harmony.

“It’s the first time I have tasted such great Cabernet since a long time ago.” , daimajo-sama said.


I am sure again the top cuvee of the fine winery is far different from others.
