This month marks the end of another half of the year.
Hmmm.
Sukiyaki today.
It is lean black Wagyu beef from Hokkaido.
I bought it at Odakyu OX near my house.
It’s very tasty.
The appetizer was Hotaru-ika.
I can’t remember a year where I ate firefly squid as much as this year.
Is it almost the end of the season?
1st Marquis de Beau Rond Rose 2022 1,050 yen
I came with Hotaru-ika and Sukiyaki, and without hesitation, I chose Marquis’s rose.
I felt subtly sweet aroma, clean acidity and minerality.
I don’t think there’s any other wine that fits so perfectly.
The Marquis de Beau Rond Rose is the home run king of rose wine!
2nd Marquis de Beau Rond Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 1,050 yen
The other day, a customer pointed out to me, ” Marquis’s Cabernet is light in color and taste, and it doesn’t look like Cabernet.”
It is true that compared to Chilean Cabernet, the color is much lighter, and the astringency and condensation are lighter.
However, this is my willfully wine-making.
I am in charge of blending this wine.
I want the winery to have an elegant style wine with low alcohol, low astringency, and a cool feeling.
I’m asking for it over and over again so much.
It has a smooth mouthfeel and an excellent balance of fruitiness, acidity, and minerality, I think.
And I think that the characteristics of Cabernet are also well displayed.
