Sukiyaki is helpful

Mar. 11

Last night, the wine for the first time in 4 days became a deep drink, and today I had a some damage in the morning for the first time in a long time.

I rarely have a hangover, but . . .

Meanwhile, I was busy today and had a short time to cook.

I had expected this in advance, so tonight’s dinner is Sukiyaki.

I prepared the ingredients yesterday.

Sukiyaki is quick to prepare, and it feels like a treat, and it goes well with wine, which is really helpful.

I had Japanese black beef from Hokkaido.

It was delicious.

Today’s Wine

Estezargues Bio Cote du Rhone Rouge 2022  2,180 yen

This is a bio wine made by the Estezargues winery in the southern Rhone region, the standard-bearer of natural wine.

It is made from old Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grown by organic method, and fermented with wild yeast without sulfur.

Bottling is done without filtration and clarification.

I felt dense textured fruits flavor, rich red fruits acidity, mellow tannins and long aftertaste. At 14.5% ABV, it is the highest wine in Relax Wine, but I didn’t feel alcoholic at all.

It’s a very good wine.

It was perfect for today’s Sukiyaki.
