Jun. 24
It was the third day in Languedoc.
We went to Chateau Canet in Minervois and tried a professional tasting.
Before the event, we were guided to the cellar and vineyards of the winery by Mr.Floris Lemstra, the owner & winemaker.
It was very nice, well-managed.
Just starting!
We went to eight wineries booths gathered from Minervois and tasted a lot of wines taking communications with all of them.
I took many photos.
My selfie stick was very useful to take communications with the wineries.
It was a very, very hard job!
After the event, we went to a very nice restaurant located by Canal du Midi.
We had a fabulous lunch with the other two winery owners in Minervois.
I was so surprised the big volume of dishes.
After lunch, we walked alongside of the canal.
Then we saw a nice local wine shop by Canal du Midi.
The owner of the shop is the representative of Minervois Wine Association.
Then we went back to Narbonne and tried a professional tasting again at the head office of CIVL.
We had to visit at eight wineries booths and tasted a lot of wines taking comunications with all of them, as well.
It was a very, very hard job, too!
My selfie stick was also very useful to take communications with the wineries.
We managed to finish the event.
Then we went to a very nice restaurant by the seaside in Narbonne.
Even though we arrived at the restaurant at 21:00, the sun still shone.
At first, we tried again a professional tasting for the other two wineries joined to the dinner tonight.
It was a very nice view and atmosphere except a lot of mosquitoes.
Finally, the dinner started after 22:00.
We enjoyed very fine dishes and a lot of fine Languedoc wines included an incredible old vintage.
The date was changed on the dinner.
Good job on long today!
Good night….
