1st Marquis de Beau Rond Sauvignon Blanc 2022 980 yen

Once upon a time, it was by far the top wine for home drinking.

I don’t drink it that often these days, but it’s still a very satisfying wine.

I felt fresh and pure fruit flavor, acidity that stretches beautifully, and firm minerality.

This Sauvignon Blanc has all the flavors I want it to be.

After all, it’s delicious.

 

 

2nd Lingen Red Blend 2018  2,750 yen

Since it was New Year’s Day, I wanted to drink some good wine, so I opened it.

Lingen is a small vineyard in the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Jose, who is the famous winemaker in “Stark Conde” is in charge of contract cultivation and vinification of grapes.

It is a blend of Syrah-main, Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot and Petit Schiller.

I was impressed in a deep and elegant fruits.

Although it is a Syrah blend, it has an elegance reminiscent of Burgundy’s fine wines.

In 2018, only 1,675 bottles were produced.

I drank precious wine.
