No Wine, No Life

Oct. 19

It was a very, very cold day.

Summer has suddenly changed to winter.

I cooked Nabe for dinner.

I took a soup by boiling chicken born and wings for 8 hours.

Nabe is very nice for a cold night.

Unfortunately, it was a No Wine Day.

Oct. 20

I cooked Zosui, a soupy rice, using leftover soup stock of Nabe yesterday.

It was very nice.

Afternoon, I went to Yokohama and had a business meeting.

Then I came back to Machida and had some private dinner with an old friend.

It was the first time I had a private dinner with friend at restaurant since Covid-19.

We enjoyed nice dishes, fine BYO wines and good talking.

I was sure very much, “No Wine, No Life”.
