Trip to South Nagano

I arrived at Iida in South Nagano by taking an early morning highway bus for four hours from Shinjuku.

 

 

Then I took a rent-a-car and visited to Tsumago, where is a very popular historic post station.  

 

 

I was very impressed in a beautiful old street.

 

 

I had a very nice Soba lunch there.

 

 

 

Then I went back to Iida city and went to Moto-Zenkoji, which is a very old histroic temple.

 

 

 

 

Then I had a very fine dinner at Yukimoto, which is a very fine authentic Japanese cuisine restaurant.

 

 

 

I was amazed at their ultra-super outstandingly fine cuisines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also I enjoyed very much super fine Nagano wines difficult to find.

 

 

 

 

It became a super impressive day today.
