No Wine Day

Feb. 24

I had a two-night business trip to Hokkaido.

I arrived at Sapporo and went to Agora Sapporo, a nice Italian restaurant in Susukino.

The restaurant is owned & operated by Seed-Tank, to which I organized a wine seminar at Ginza Sky last Tuesday in this week.

Mr. & Mrs. Yamazaki, who are the owner of Yamazaki Winery in Mikasa and Mr. Fujii, who is the owner of Wine Shop Fujii in Sapporo, joined in the party.

Mr. Yamazaki brought his wine not yet released.

Yamazaki Chardonnay 2015

Yamazaki Pinot Noir 2015

Yamazaki Pinot Noir 2013

I am sure Yamazaki Winery is one of the top wineries in Japan.

Every his wine is very popular and difficult to find.

I was very happy that I could taste these super fine wines today.

They were so fine, very delicious.

I brought two Muscadet top cuvees of Famille Liuebeau.

I made them a blind tasting to the party.

Everybody couldn’t find that they were Muscadet.

The two bottles of Muscadet had outstanding qualities.

I think no wine professionals say it’s Muscadet.

Thank you very much for Mr. Yamada, who is the chef de cuisine.

After the dinner party, we moved to Wine Shop Fujii and kept tasting a lot of bottles.
