I took an annual physical examination.
After three no wine days, here we drink!
1st Oku-Izumo Vineyard Chardonnay Unwooded 2015 2550 yen
It made form 100% Chardonnay grown in the estate vineyard.
It is fermented in stainless tank by the cold maceration.
I like very much these very nice fruits, citrus and minerals.
How fine Chardonnay is this!
It is produced only 1685 bottles.

2nd Oku-Izumo Vineyard Red NV 2000 yen
The red is made from Japanese hybrid grapes and Seibel.
I didn’t feel any hybrid nuance but felt very elegant red berries.
The taste is similar to Barbera in north Italy, I think.
It is a really elegant Japanese red wine.
Oku-Izumo produces only very fine wine.
Tasty! Tasty! Tasty!
