I managed to cook them and had a Temaki-Sushi dinner.

1st Soleil Chino Koshu 2014

It is the top cuvee Koshu of the winery.

The grapes came ftom their finest vineyard in Enzan Yamanashi.

It was fermented in French oak cask.

I felt a very fine citrus acidity at first.

Then very big volume fruits appeared.

All of the taste made a ver good balance.

I was sure it was a very special, outstanding Koshu wine.

2nd Kizan Family Reserve Red 2013

The red is made in Enzan, too.

It is made from Merlot and Black Queen.

At first, I felt some reductive smell as usual.

Soon, the smell disappeared and big volume red fruits came up.

The sweet touch flavor from Merlot and the strong acidity from Black Queen made a very good balance of the marriage.

Tasty! I always love the combination of sushi and Kizan!
