Kobe Wine Project 2

May 17

It was a heavy rainy day in Kobe in the morning.

I would have a vineyard work at Kobe Wine today.

I was wondering if I can did it.

However, I visited to the winery.

It was the second event of the Hakutsuru sake brewery and Kobe Wine joint project.

I saw the big cellar at first.

Then I joined to the vineyard work at the estate farm with the project members of Hakutsuru.

The members are selected from various sections, sales, marketing, D&R, accounting, PR, etc.

All of us were at the first time to work at the vineyard.

It was not so easy but interesting.

We might do a good job.

Then we moved Inji vineyards and checked our Chardonnay vines.

All of the vine were very fine now.

Then we went back to the winery and had a wine tasting.

We tasted five sparkling wines made by Kobe Wine.

I was so impressed in all of the wines quality.

They were very nice.

Especially, Fuwari white and red made by the traditional method were great.

I thought they are one of the top class sparkling wines in Japan.

I think we did a good job.

Then I went back to Tokyo.

I tasted sushi and Kobe wine on the Shinkansen train as usual.

They were nice!

Thank you!
