Good job!!

1st Katsunuma Jyozo Winery Arugano Koshu 2020  1800 yen + tax

It is a “Japan Nouveau” made from 100% Koshu grown in Yamanashi.

I felt very clean fruits and very nice acidity.

It is made by a very natural maceration with no sugar and acid addition.

I felt a very good body even though the low alcohol, only 8.5%.

It was a very difficult vintage in Yamanashi because of the bad weather.

However, this Koshu Nouveau has very high quality.

It is one of my best Koshu Nouveau wines I have tasted ever.

2nd Chateraise Belle Foret Winery Prologue 2019  2800 yen + tax

It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the estate vineyard in Hokuto, Yamanashi.

It is the second vintage of the winery produced only 300 bottles.

At first, I felt a charming Pinot Noir aroma and very light flavor.

Gradually, complex a fruits taste was coming up.

The style is very delicate and elegant.

I think it is a typical Japan Pinot Noir.

I like this one very much.
