I like the pure and rich fruits, nice acidity and fine minerals.

2nd Augustin du Chateau Fongrave 2016 3,300 yen + tax
It is the top cuvee of Chateau Fongrave in St.-Macaire, Bordeaux.
It is made from mainly Merlot grown in the best part of the estate vineyards.
I felt very dense-concentrated fruits and tannin.
However, the mouthfeel was very tender and elegant.
I felt some very deep nuance.
I always feel something else with the top cuvee wines made by excellent wineries.
Very, very good!
