Feb. 5

I participated in Inglenook Wine Seminar at Park Hyatt Tokyo in Shinjuku.

Mr. Philippe Bascaules lectured us about the winery & vineyards and led the great wine tasting.

He was scouted to the winery from Chateau Margaux in 2011 when the winery name retuned from Niebaume Coppola to Inglenook.

All of the bottles were so great, so elegant.

Philippe’s wine-making pursues a great elegance.

I was deeply impressed in that by his lecture and the wine tasting.

I took a picture with Mr. Yasuhiro Shibuya, who is the president of Wine-In-Style, which is the importer of Inglenook.

After the seminar, I stopped at Omoide-Yokocho in Shinjuku by the way to home.

The old street has a lot of traditional small bars.

I was going to drink a little, but I drank a lot of wine, cocktail and wine.
