Tmaki-Suhi!

May 15

No Wine Day

May 16

I cooked dinner, Tmaki-Suhi.

I cooked unique clams.

They were very delicious.

I love Temaki-Sushi!

1st Coco Farm & Winery Petit Mangseng 2018 I chose Japan Wine today.

Petit Mangseng is the grape variety born in South-West France.

They say, the variety is resistant about rain.

It may be good grape variety in Japan.

It is made from 100% Petit Mangseng grown in the estate vineyards in Ashikaga.

The taste is very pure and natural.

I felt very nice fruits, fine acidity and good minerals.

It was very delicious and very good for Temaki-Sushi today.

2nd Soleil Wine Pinot Noir 2018 3,000 yen + tax It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the estate vineyard in Yamanashi.

Only 1618 bottles produced.

I have been trying to taste this Pinot Noir since 15 years ago.

It has been getting better and better.

The style is still very light and delicate.

Somebody, whose palate is invaded by too much dark wine or additives, might say ” It is watery.”

But I am sure it is never watery.

I felt very elegant & natural red berry, comfortable acidity and minerals.

I could see the very fine essence of good grapes.

Tasty…

It was very good for Temaki-Sushi today, too.
