Winemaker’s Dinner invited Mr. Bernardo Cabral

I organized a Winemaker’s Dinner invited Mr. Bernardo Cabral, who is the winemaker of Companhia dos Lezirias in Portugal.

 

 

Our core clients gathered at Ginza Soseki, which is an excellent sushi restaurant.

 

 

Mr. Okada, who is the owner & Sommelier of the sushi restaurant, is a real wine professional.

He wrote a book about the marriage of sushi and wine recenly.

 

 

I have been expecting what chemistry will happen between his sushi and Bernardo’s Portugal wine.

 

 

 

Yes! The tremendously great chemistry appeared!!

 

 

 

 

Every cuisine was perfect for every wine.

 

 

What a wonderful paring they were!

 

 

 

 

At last, special “Nigiri Sushi” accepted Touriga Nacional red wine very well.

All of the sushi cooked for full-bodied red wine by the special recipe.

 

 

Bernardo said, “Amazing wine dinner, who said that fish doesn’t go with red wines???? Tonight, we had the opposite experience.”

 

 

 

Everybody enjoyed the wine event indeed.

I am deeply sure again that wine is the best drink for sushi.

 

 

 

At last, we held a lottery.

 

 

 

Everybody was so excited!!

 

 

 

 

It was an amazingly nice experience for the all of this.
