We organized a wine seminar at the tasting bar in Cave de Relax by inviting to Mr. Takaki Okada, the director and winemaker in Folium Vineyard in Malborough, New Zealand.
Folium Vineyard was established in 2010 by Mr. Okada and got very good reputations for their fine Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Pinot Noir Reserve Magnum 2012, only 50 bottles were produced.
It was the first time I had tasted Folium’s wine.
I was amazed at the high quality of them.
All of the wines have very natural fruits, elegant acidity and comfortable after taste.
The style is far different from some too big new world wines.
They were really wonderful.
His talk was also very interesting.
I admired his philosophy and passion for winemaking.
I was educated a lot and grew up about New Zealand wine.
