No Wine Day
May. 4
I had one day business trip to Nagano by some urgent matter.
By the way to the destination, I took two old express trains which I had often took in Tokyo before.
I had a nostalgic feel.
While I waited for the train at Nagano Station, I tried taste several Nagano Wine at the standing bar.
I also tasted Nagano Sake, too.
They were very nice.
After I came back home.
1st Obuse Winery Sogga Pere et Fils Ordinaire Sauvignon Blanc 2017
It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in Domaine Kakutou Vineyards in Takayama Ngano.
I love this very fresh fruits aroma, very nice citrus and fine minerals.
So delicious!
I am sure again Obuse Winery is truly outstanding winery in Japan.
Recently, all of Obuse wines are difficult to find.
I looked for Obuse Wine in Nagano today but I couldn’t find.
2nd Rubaiyat Rouge Barrel Aged 2014 2,480 yen
It’s so tasty, too!
It is made from 100% Merlot grown in mainly Shiojiri Nagano.
I felt concentrated-fresh fruits, mild tannin and long after taste.
This Merlot has a very high quality and very high cost performance.
It’s very, very good Japanese red wine.
I think both of the wineries today know the global standard pricing theory.
