Marusan Winery

Apr. 24

I cooked dinner, Temaki-Sushi.

I steamed a crab then stripped it by taking 30 minutes.

Very good!

1st Marusan Winery Miyakubo Chardonnay 2017 2160 yen

I bought this at the winery last week.

I felt sweet aroma at first.

I doubted if it is a sweet Chardonnay.

However, it was a real dry white wine.

I felt very rich-natural fruits aroma and flavor.

I felt very clean and pure Chardonnay taste.

It is a typical fine Japanese Chardonnay.

It was very good for Temaki-Sushi today, especially the paring with Crab was perfect.

Really tasty!

2nd Marusan Winery Hyaku Muscat Bailey-A 2017 1500 yen

I didn’t feel sweet candy flavor that some NG Bailey-A often had.

I felt elegant red berries, nice acidity and comfortable tannin.

I also felt rich and nice structure that you hardly find with Bailey-A in this class.

I admire this cost performance.

I think it is one of the top Beiley-A wines in Yamanashi.

It is very good for Temaki-Sushi, too, especially Bachi-Maguro today.

Very good!
