This Koshu has very fine acidity and minerals.
The winery is located in Yamagata, where is the northern limit of Koshu grape habitat.
I think it is an outstanding Koshu wine.
Also the price is very reasonable.

Soleil Wine Taupinee Rouge 2010 1890yen
Soleil is a very small winery in Yamanashi-shi.
This red wine is made from Kai Noir, Merlot and Muscat Bailey-A grown in Yamanashi-shi.
I felt very charming fruits a lot.
I also felt unique style of tannin with some smoky nuance.
It was tasty, very delicious.
The total product is only 955 bottles.
So little..
