No Wine Day
Aug. 7
It was a day-off.
I weeded my garden in the morning and tired a lot.
Then I had to clear a lot of private things.
I couldn’t enjoy a day-off.
1st Alpha Loire En Clos Petit Chien Cheverny 2013 1850 yen
It is made from 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Chardonnay grown by organic method in Cheverny Loire, where is well-known a World Heritage site.
I felt nice green herb, nice citrus, fine minerals.
Also I felt very nice honey and smoky nuance thanks of good mature.
Very, very good!
2nd Tenuta Carlini “Focara” Pinot Nero 2016 2800 yen New Arrivals
It is the top cuvee red wine of the winery.
The “Pinot Nero = Pinot Noir” is called “Focara” for a long time in this area.
It is not a fashion wine but a traditional wine in this area even though made by a new generation winery.
I was moved by its very good fruits aroma, outstandingly excellent red berries, far silky tannin and very long after taste.
I felt all of the facts that I want to taste in Pinot Noir.
I am sure I got a big successes.
