I went to visit Jindaiji Temple in Chofu.

Since last year, Jindaiji Temple has been very popular among young ladies, and the precincts are full of girls today.

 

 

Today, most soba restaurants are on winter close.

The soba restaurants in front of the gate, which are only open in a few places, have long lines everywhere.

 

 

Tamanoya, located up the slope leading to the Jindai Botanical Garden, is a hidden gem at times like this.

Fortunately, it is open. I was immediately guided to my seat and had a Kenchin-soba.

 

 

My body was warm and it was very delicious.

 

 

I had a “Goma” ceremony at the Ganzan-daishi Hall and went home.

 

 

Today’s dinner is a hot pot dish.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Kimuchi hot pot.

 

 

I cooked chicken bones yesterday and got a rich soup.

Kimuchi is mild and mildly spicy.
