Happy New Year!
This Pelo-Gubi Wine Diary, which started in January 2001, is now in its 26th year.

I saw the first sunrise from the window of my room again this year.
Unfortunately, there were clouds only in the eastern sky, and the sunrise was a little late.

I had a simple Osechi dish for lunch.
This year, I just lined up the dishes I purchased at the Seikatsu Club Co-op, but it is a New Year’s meal in its own way.

The Ozoni was made by taking a lot of broth from chicken bones.

The first wine of the year is Chase the Grape Jin 2024.

This is a wine related to the name of my first grandson.
This is an orange wine produced by my son mainly from Koshu varieties from Yamanashi Prefecture.
It was very delicious.

From the afternoon, I went to Kasuga Shrine for the first visit.
I had a very calm New Year’s Day blessed with good weather.

2026 has begun.

Thank you for your continued support this year.
