No Wine Day
Oct. 18
Due to the end of support for Office 2019, which I have been using for a long time, I have decided to switch to the subscription Office 365.
There were various types, so I purchased the cheapest subscription for general companies.
On the day before yesterday night, I bought Office 365 while drinking wine as usual, and fell asleep while fiddling with my computer.
I left the computer on.
Yesterday I tried to set up Office 365 in the afternoon, but it didn’t work very well.
I did this and that, and I went a little further, but at the end it froze with “You don’t have permissions, please contact the administrator”.
Who is the administrator?
I tried my best until late at night, but in the end it didn’t work.
Today I gave up on the subscription version and purchased the personal purchase version of Office 2024 on Amazon.
Back up all my Office data in advance, prepare the port numbers and passwords of the POP server and SMTP server for email settings, and download Office 2024.
Wait for a while and the download is complete.
Now, I rolled up my sleeves to try the settings, but nothing happened, and the settings in 2019 were taken over as they were, and Outlook, Excel, Word, and everything else were automatically upgraded to 2024.
Oh, and what were the frustrating 8 hours that made me struggle with yesterday’s settings?
I know I’m wrong, but I can’t be convinced.
Today’s dish
Cold tofu
Salad with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Pumpkin, Cherry-tomatoes, Watercress, Wiwi and Apple
Bonito, Aji, Salmon Sashimi
Tuna cheek meet steak with red wine sauce and grilled Maitake mushrooms
Tuna cheek meat is delicious.
Today’s Wine
Marquis de Beau Rond Merlot 2023 1,080 yen
It is full of fruits, well-balanced, and has a pure and gentle mouthfeel.
Marquis de Beau Rond’s Merlot is delicious.
I also made the steak sauce with this Merlot.
The wine and food went very well together.
