It was the first time in 40 years.

No Wine Day

Sep. 9

Just recently, by chance, it turned out that my college classmates and my colleague at the time of Mercian’s new employees lived in the neighborhood and were drinking buddies.

I was called to a yakitori restaurant in Shirokane in the neighborhood of the two.

When I heard the word Shirogane yakitori, I imagined a stylish restaurant, but what a Showa retro commoner-like restaurant.

I met my colleague at last year’s Mercian alumni meeting, but it was the first time in 40 years that I met my classmates.

We have exchanged only New Year’s cards for 40 years, but as soon as we met, we traveled in time. In no time, my feelings returned to my student days.

At a small table, knees are put together, and flowers bloom in old stories.

By the way, the giblets at this restaurant are incredibly delicious.

The fresh ingredients and surprisingly careful “grilling” shine through.

It might be the most delicious Motsuyaki I’ve ever eaten.

It passed while there was a good time.

Thank you all for inviting me today.

See you soon!
