I washed the large eel you bought at the supermarket well and re-steam it in wine.

 

 

It is placed on top of rice cooked in a red wine-based homemade eel sauce and steamed even better.

 

 

Completion.

 

 

This is really delicious. It goes very well with wine.

 

 

 

1st Asahi Yoshu Soleil Classic NV

Asahi Yoshu in Yamanashi City is a small winery run by Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki.

It is a wine carefully made by a serious, serious couple who have inherited the long tradition of winemaking in Yamanashi.

It’s been a long time since I’ve drunk this Koshu, but it’s still very delicious.

I felt accented with a gentle and thick fruit flavor unique to Koshu and a slight astringency.

The pure mouthfeel without turbidity is impressive.

This quality is the cheapest basic class wine in the winery.

After all, Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki are amazing.

 

 

2nd Obuse Wine Sogga Pare & Fils Chabudai wine Merlot Barrel Aging 2022

It’s been a really long time since I’ve drunk Obuse wine from Nagano.

It has become a difficult to find and buy.

This is also the cheapest basic class wine in the winery.

In fact, it was planned to be another higher-class wine, but the owner and winemaker, Mr. Soga, was not satisfied with the coloring and downgraded it to a basic wine.

However, this one is also very delicious.

We have no idea what didn’t make sense.

The taste is light to the touch, but not thin at all.

I felt the rich flavor of Merlot, which is smooth, elegant and pleasant, spreads throughout your mouth.

After all, Mr. Soga is amazing.
