Mzutaki-Nabe, Nice!

Nov. 2

No Wine Day

Nov. 3

Today’s cooking was a Mzutaki-Nabe.

I boiled down two pieces of Nambu chicken bones in the morning to make broth.

It was a good soup stock that was clear but rich.

It takes a lot of time and effort, but it was very tasty.

1st Marufuji Winery Crémant de Rebaiyat 2022  2,640 yen

It is a sparkling wine produced by using Muscat Bailey A grown in Nirasaki, Yamanashi Prefecture by the Traditional Method.

I felt fresh flavor of red fruits, fine babbles and sharp acidity.

It has a fruity aroma, but the taste is extremely dry.

I think it’s the type of sparkling wine that complements your dish.

It also went well with today’s Mizutaki-Nabe.

The number of units produced is 835 bottles. Oh, few!

2nd Chase the Grape Chill Red 2022  2,800 yen

A blend of 88% Muscat Bailey A from Katsunuma, Yamanashi Prefecture, 10% Merlot from Nanriki and 2% Zalagyongye from Katsunuma.

Zalagyongye is a grape variety that you may not be familiar with, but it is said to be a white grape native to Hungary.

Hakodate Norakura Winery makes sparkling wine with 100% Zalagyongye grown in Hokkaido, and it seems that it is starting to attract attention in Japan.

By the way, I felt the gentle mouthfeel unique to red wine fermented with wild yeast.

It is a style full of red fruits.

Yes, this is good, isn’t it?

In our house, we have a good reputation.
