Of all the July I’ve ever lived, this year is definitely the hottest July.
I’m tired of the heat…
Today’s dish was an izakaya menu.
1st Chescon Prosecco NV 1,650 yen
It is a sparkling wine from Veneto, Italy.
After taking it out of the fridge, I put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to cool it.
Today I was going outside in the extreme heat, so the cold Prosecco is outstandingly delicious.
I once forgot to put the same Prosecco in the freezer and left it overnight.
The bottle burst and the freezer was covered in Prosecco sorbet.
It’s dangerous, so don’t imitate good boys.
2nd Domaine Poupui Tannat Merlot 2018 1,150 yen
It is a red wine from the South-West in France.
The astringency and presence of Tannat and the rich fruit flavor of Merlot create a very good harmony.
After cooling in the refrigerator, I drank it with ice in a glass.
It is very tasty!
