Dinner at Newman’s “Tavern on S”

Jul. 16

It was a scorching Sunday like a punishment game.

I went to Shinjuku and had dinner at Newman’s “Tavern on S”.

This is also my favorite restaurant recently.

This heat comes back to life with Belgian beer.

The first plate, boiled eggs with lobster, was surprisingly delicious.

MSG-free cuisine made with carefully selected fresh ingredients is delicious no matter what you eat.

The romaine lettuce in Caesar salad is very fresh and crispy.

Both charcuterie and pasta are the best.

From the 3,000-yen wine list, we chose the Stratum Sauvignon Blanc from Sherwood Estate in New Zealand.

It is one of New Zealand’s leading sustainable wines.

Pure fruit taste and outstanding minerality. It’s great.

It shouldn’t be a wine you can drink at a restaurant for 3,000 yen. What’s going on?

The main dish was Iberico Bellota.

Flambé at the table, surprised by the flames that rose to the ceiling.

The service of the staff was perfect, and I was very satisfied with the dessert.

It was a very enjoyable and delicious dinner.

Thank you for the meal. Will come again!
