Today’s dinner was Sukiyaki.

 

 

I bought a Wagyu black beef from Kagoshima at a special sale at a supermarket.

It was pretty delicious.

 

 

 

1st  Sakai Winery Mazekoze Wine White 1,870 yen

It was made from the remaining part of the lie from the tank of white wine brewed at the winery.

The lie was collected and further bottled with only the supernatant.

As the name suggests, it mixes both varieties and vintages.

It may be made from Koshu, Delaware, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris.

I felt full of pure and gentle fruit flavor, clean acidity is also firm.

It has full of the natural flavor of grapes.

Mazekoze’s tastes are from bottle to bottle, but this one is quite delicious.

 

 

2nd bottle Marquid Bolan Syrah 2021 980 yen

The first time I tasted this vintage of MBR Syrah, I thought, “Oh, sweet?”

Unlike previous vintages, there is no sharp feeling of Syrah, and the mouth feel is soft.

At that time, I suddenly thought, “This seems to be a good fit with Sukiyaki.”

Our sukiyaki is sweetly seasoned, so the sweetness of this Syrah is nice, I supposed.

The acid is strong and the body is neat.

So, I continued to drink it while eating sukiyaki, I felt as if I was drinking some kind of high-class wine.

Yes, it’s a good wine after all.
