It was the anniversary of professor Susato’s death, who was my teacher in university.
I visited his grave with my alumni.
Praying.
As I wanted to taste some good sake, I bought a bottle of fine sake, Junmai-Ginko, on the way to home.
That’s very nice!
1st Bellwood Vineyard Collection Superieure Koshu 2021
Bellwood Vineyard is a small private winery in Kaminoyama Yamagata.
It is made from 100% Koshu grown in Tsuruoka Yamagata.
This one is the upper class wine of the winery.
At first, I felt a very fresh grape aroma and flavor.
Then I was impressed fabulously beautiful acidity and marvelously fine minerals.
It is a wonderful Koshu wine.
It shows a huge potential of Koshu grape, I think.
