I participated in “All Japan Muscat Bailey-A Tasting Seminar 2022” organized by “MBA 1927→”.
“MBA 1927→” is a voluntary association organized by the winery which produces Muscat Bailey-A wine.
The 57 kind of Muscat Bailey-A wines produced by 32 wineries were gathered at “Suntory Yumetamago” in Msashi-Kosugi.
At first, we joined in the wine seminar.
Mr. Mori and Mr. Iguro, who are the top sommeliers in Japan, tasted the 32 kind of Muscat Bailey-A and gave us their tasting comments.
The comments were very interesting and grew on me a lot.
Then all of the participants tried to taste 57 kind of Muscat Bailey-A.
Recently, the quality of the grape variety is getting better and better.
I felt the good diversity and the big possibility of Muscat Bailey-A.
It was the first time I had joined such big wine event in these two years.
I could see a lot of my wine friends again.
I was happy that they were very fine.
Thank you very much!
After the event, I had a nice Yakitori dinner at Mukogaoka-Yuen on the way to home.
I did a very good job today!!
