Yakiniku BBQ dinner

We have been keeping very cold days in Tokyo.

 

I had a nice Yakiniku BBQ dinner today.

1st Araldica Piemonte Cortese 2020  1050 yen

It is made from 100% Cortese grown in Piemonte by ”SQNPI” sustainable farming.

Cortese is know by the grape variety of Gavi.

The style is similar to Xino-Xano white I tasted yesterday.

I like the pure fruits, clean acidity and fine minerals.

Also, It has a nice fruits body, which was good for Yakiniku BBQ today.

2nd al & dile Pinot Nero 2018  1650 yen

It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Veneto by sustainable method.

Even though it is an elegant red wine, I chose this one for Yakiniku BBQ.

Because I cooked the BBQ sauce with citrus, I thought this Pinot Noir would be good for BBQ.

I was right.

The delicate red berries were very good for the BBQ sauce.

Especially, this Pinot was very good for vegetables today.
