Aug. 31
At lunch, I cooked Napolitan, which is a traditional pasta in Japan.
Very good!
No Wine Day
Sep. 1
I went to Marunouchi to join in some business meeting.
It is the first time that I walked in the central Tokyo recently.
After the meeting, I got very fresh fishes by the way to home.
I roasted the bones.
I cooked sashimi.
They were amazingly nice, fabulously delicious.
The quality was as same as some expensive Japanese restaurant, wasn’t it?
1st Kizan Wine White 2019 1595 yen
I was going to open some French wine today but I didn’t because I cooked very fine sashimi.
Then I chose Kizan White.
It is mad from 100% Koshu grown in Yamanashi.
What a nice white wine for sashimi is this!
Almost all Koshu wines are good for sashimi but this one is outstanding.
I felt elegant fruits, fine acidity and sharp minerals.
It drew a lot of goodness of sashimi.
I enjoyed an amazingly nice marriage.
I got a big success of the wine choice today.
2nd Kizan Family Reserve 2018 1980 yen
It is an upper-grade red wine in Kizan Wine.
It is made from 40% Black Queen, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot grown in Yamanashi.
I felt deep red fruits, fine acidity and bright tannins.
The mouthfeel was quite elegant.
The main dish tonight was shao mai, steamed Chinese dumplings, cooked by daimajo-sama.
The red wine was outstandingly good for the shao mai.
Very good!
