According the Japanese Calendar, the winter has started from today.
1st Cuvee des Volcans Cotes d’Auvergne Blanc 2018 Sample Tasting
I received this sample wine from Auvergne France, where is well known in Japan by the produce area of Volvic water.
Thanks of the cool climate, the wine making form Chardonnay and Pinot Noir becomes popular recently.
This white wine is made from 100% Chardonnay.
I felt very rich-concentrated fruits and moderate acidity.
The alcohol degree is just too high for me, isn’t it?
I know it is a very good wine.
2nd Cuvee des Volcans Cotes d’Auvergne Rouge 2017 Sample Tasting
No grape variety name is indicated the labels.
I supposed that it is made from mainly Pinot Noir with Gamey or Syrah?
It is a very dark and concentrated red wine.
I was sure it was a very good red wine.
However, personally, I may prefer to a more elegant style red wine.
