1st Chateau Canet Alternative Chardonnay 2017 Sample Tasting
This sample white wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in cool climate vineyards in Languedoc.
Floris, the owner & winemaker of the winery, used to produce wine in Burgundy for a long time.
Then the style of wine has the hint of Burgundy.
I felt very concentrated-rich fruits, charming vanilla nuance, fine acidity and good minerals.
I would like to try to taste this after long maturing.
2nd Chateau Canet Minervois Les Evangiles 2016 Sample Tasting
It is a brand-new red wine made by Chateau Canet from 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache grown in Minervois.
Even though I felt tremendously concentrated-rich fruits, the taste was very delicate and elegant.
I didn’t feel any high alcohol touch.
I also felt some tropical fruits nuance.
I would like to try to taste this one after a long maturation, too.
I am sure it is a very high potential red wine.
