I took a three-day holiday and came to Furano Ski Resort in Hokkaido.
I love ski!
It was the 33th wedding anniversary of us today.
I had a fine dinner at the main dinning of Shin-Furano Prince Hotel.
We enjoyed very nice dishes.
Of course, we tasted Furano Wine, which is a very fine Hokkaido wine produced by only local grapes in Furano and sold in only Hokkaido.
1st Furano Wine Muller-Thurgau 2015
I felt very elegant fruits, wel-balanced acidity and minerals.
I felt as if I had tasted very good Austria white wine.
Very, very tasty!
2nd Furano Wine Higuma-no- Banshaku 2015
It is the flagship red wine of the winery.
I love this cute brown bear’s label.
It is made from Furano-2, which is the local hybrid grape, and Zwigeltrebe grown in Furano.
I felt elegant red fruits, silky tannin and nice acidity.
I didn’t feel any bad taste, hybrid grape often has.
I felt as if I had tasted very fine Loire red or Beaujolais.
Very tasty!
After dinner, we went to Soh’s Bar in the deep forest of the hotel garden.
Then we kept to taste Furano Wine with the hotel original label.
It was very tasty, too.
Yes! Furano Wine!
