1st Tortues en Crique Chardonnay Viognier 2022 1,230 yen
It is a white wine made from Languedoc Chardonnay and Viognier.
The elegant fruit flavor of Chardonnay is very well matched with the savory and spicy nuances of Viognier.
It is a very good wine.
2nd Tortues en Crique Creek Syrah Mourvedre 2021 1,180 yen
It is a red wine made from Syrah and Mourvedre, grape varieties native to the south of France.
I felt condensed spicy fruits, firm tannins and a long aftertaste.
Yet, the mouthfeel is smooth.
This combination of this grape variety from Languedoc is usually a very strong wine, but this one is not too strong, firm but elegant.
