I had a business lunch in Roppongi.
It was the first business lunch in these four months.
Because I abstain from lunch drinking recently, I didn’t taste wine.
I had a dinner at home.
1st Pangolin Sauvignon Blanc 2019 980 yen + tax
It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in West Coast in Cape.
Thanks of the cool climate, the style of wine is very cool and elegant.
I felt clear fruits, pure acidity and good minerals.
I like this sharp mouthfeel very much.
I am sure again that it is a very fine Sauvignon Blanc in South Africa.
2nd Pangolin Syrah 2018 980 yen + tax
I have been importing Pangolin since 2003.
The style of Pangolin Syrah was dark, concentrated full-bodied until not long ago.
Because the favorite taste of the market has changed, the style of Pangolin Syrah has changed, too.
I felt elegant fruits, good acidity and soft tannin.
The alcohol degree is not so high.
