Aug. 24
It was the second day of my summer holidays.
I climbed Mt. Tateyama via Lake Kurobe.
I took a trolleybus going through Kurobe Tunnel and arrived at Lake Kurobe.
I was surprised at seeing a huge dam.
It was a really superb view.
Then I took a cable car and, aerial tramway and another trolleybus.
Finally, I arrived at Murodo on Mt. Tateyama.
Here was at 2450 meter elevation.
It was cold!
There were still a lot of snow gorges.
It was so nice walking around the plateau area.
The beer under the sky was great!
I stayed Tateyama Hotel at Murodo.
It is the fine hotel which is located the highest elevation in Japan.
I had very fine Japanese cuisines and tasted local Japanese wine.
They were so nice, very delicious.
After the dinner, I enjoyed beautiful starry sky and had a dry martini at the bar of the hotel.
Because of the low atmospheric pressure, I felt the alcohol earlier than usual.
Good night….
