Working & Cooking

Nov. 8

After the business trip to Yonago, I took a day-off but I worked all day long at home.

Then I cooked dinner.

Shrimp Saute Yuzu & Saffron sauce

Pork & Apple Sauté Blackberry sauce

I cooked only two dishes.

I ate some more dishes daimajo-sama cooked yesterday.

1st Yamazaki Winery Pinot Noir Blush 2015

It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the estate vineyard and fermented by the white wine making method.

I felt a little sweet with a big acidity.

I felt lovely fine & fresh fruits.

What a charming rose wine is this!

Tasty! Tasty! Tasty!

It was very good for the shrimp sauté.

2nd Yamazaki Winery Pinot Noir Blue Label 2015

The red is also made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the estate vineyard in the same vintage with the first wine today.

It is fermented by wild yeast.

It is not a big style wine but very impressive for me.

I love this fresh fruits aroma, charming red berries, very elegant acidity, very silky tannin and comfortable after taste.

What a wonderful Pinot Noir is this!

I am sure again that Yamazaki Winery is one of the best Pinot Noir producers in Japan.
